FAIR FOOTBALL

For grassroots 7-a-side coaches

Fair playing time for every child.

Fair Football plans each quarter so the children who've played least go on first, runs the match from the touchline, and keeps every child's minutes across the season. No spreadsheets, no guesswork, no one left on the bench.

Match day in three steps

  1. 1

    Who's coming?

Mark each child Going, Maybe or Can't make it, then tick attendance on the day. The squad is ready.

  2. 2

    Suggest a fair lineup

One quarter at a time, the children with the fewest minutes go on first, in the positions they like. The gloves are shared if nobody loves goal. Drag anyone you like; your changes count too.

  3. 3

    Run it from the touchline

A quarter clock that stops itself at full time, substitutions at any minute, and one-tap goals, saves and tackles. A child who comes on halfway through a quarter gets exactly half a quarter.

Everything a volunteer coach needs

Built with grassroots coaches and shaped by their feedback after real matches.

Fair over a whole season

See each child's share of minutes, the positions they've tried, and a gentle flag for anyone falling behind.

Time owed

When a child gets less than their share, the app keeps count so you can make it up to them. An injury or an early pick-up isn't held against anyone.

Shining at

Every child gets a card with kind, true lines about what they do well. Highlights are never a ranking.

Share with your coaches

Invite the other coaches. Lineups, subs and goals sync between phones as they happen.

Match-day sheet and reports

Print all four quarters for the touchline. Share a match report as a PDF or text, using initials only.

Knows the mismatch rule

Four goals down? The app offers the extra player, then asks to take them off again if the gap closes.

Families see their own child, and nothing else

Each child gets a private family link that opens in any browser, with no app or account needed. It shows how they're getting on and what to practise, never a league table of other people's children.

  • Initials only in every shared report
  • No ads, no trackers, no selling data
  • Families can send a note to the coach

A proper iPhone app

Fair Football is being built natively for iPhone. The match clock and the next substitution sit on your lock screen, and an alert taps you on the shoulder when it's time to make a change, even with the phone in your pocket.

It's coming to the App Store soon. Questions, or want to hear when it's out? Email contact@fairfootball.app.
